Product Placement: What It Is and How Hidden Advertising Works

Product Placement is a form of hidden advertising in which movie or TV show characters use a product, or a company logo appears on screen.

Types of Product Placement:

Verbal – a product or service is mentioned aloud;

Visual – the product or logo is visible but not mentioned;

Dynamic – the product becomes part of the storyline.

Unlike native advertising, Product Placement is typically featured in films and television, whereas native advertising is usually placed on websites, blogs, and other digital platforms.
