Out-of-stock (OOS): what it is and how to avoid product shortages

A product is unavailable in stock, although its SKU exists in the system. Main reasons include incorrect minimum stock calculations, high demand, promotional campaigns, lack of working capital, logistics errors, or a newly launched product.
OOS directly depends on marketing performance - the more stable the marketing, the lower the risk of product shortages.
